Hi,
Maybe I’m thinking too far into this because I’ve had some absolutely insane coworkers before, but is it too “arrogant” or “bragging” if I put my CFE credentials in my email signature?
I recently got the designation and my license was activated last week. I earned those letters and was pretty stoked to put them in my signature. But then I remembered that I had coworkers in the past who got pissy and straight up mean with me that I hung up my diplomas on my office wall. They felt like I was trying to say I was better than them, when in reality my husband got them framed for me as a graduation present and I didn’t have a home office at the time, so I put them up at work.
Learned my lesson with the degrees and haven’t tried to put them up again at this new firm. I really like it here and don’t want to rock the boat. It’s not like I got my CPA, but my boss has their CFE and a whole host of other accounting things and it’s in their signature.
Idk.…
