Trump declares himself 'the father of fertility'

Donald Trump referred to himself as the 'father of fertility' during a maternal healthcare event at the White House.

The event, held on Monday, 11 May, saw the administration propose expanding workplace fertility benefits and insurance coverage.

Trump praised Republican senator Katie Britt, who proposed the More Opportunities for Moms to Succeed (MOMS) Act, for her role in educating him on women's fertility.

Trump stated that Britt's call prompted him to learn about fertility quickly.

He claimed to have learned 'everything there is to know in about three, four minutes' before adopting the 'father of fertility' title.
