Les Schwab plans to build a fourth tire center in Bend.

The retail tire chain is expanding its services and hopes to add a fourth store in Bend, according to a Les Schwab spokesperson.

If the city approves the plan, the new tire center would be located at SE 27th Street and Ferguson Road in southeast Bend. Les Schwab currently has retail locations at 61086 S Hwy 97 in southwest Bend, 210 NE 3rd St near downtown and 63590 NW Hunnell Road in Bend’s north end.

Les Schwab, founded in Prineville as a small tire shop by a Bend native, has its corporate headquarters in Bend. Les Schwab Tire Centers employs more than 9,000 people and has about 630 locations across the west, including 22 in Oregon. The new Bend tire center would mark the fourth location in Les Schwab’s hometown.
