For travellers, it's near the Gare Central, or main train station. Loads of hotels nearby. An inexpensive one I used to use for business travellers a few years back was the Nova Hote, a few KM away. It's all flat, so good for walkers.

Nearby are the Mariott and the Queen Elizabeth Hotel. Funny how they haven't renamed it to the King Charles, though I guess that will come.

Visitors really should try to get a walk on the mountain. The Mount Royal park was designed by the same gent who did Central Park.
