Built as part of San Diego’s Pure Water program, two segments now carry a 48-in. wastewater force main pipeline and 30-in. welded steel pipe brine centrate/conveyance pipeline toward the city’s water treatment plants.

Scope included placing 13.6 miles of pipe along a seven-mile alignment under active San Diego streets, mostly in overnight windows.…
