Michigan WARN Notices 2026: 43 Filings, 7,543 Workers, and What's Still on the Calendar

Through late October 2026, the state has logged 43 notices covering 7,543 workers, and the numbers tell a story of fewer filings but larger average footprints than last year.

2026 so far: half the filings, similar weight

Michigan's 43 notices in 2026 are roughly half the pace of the two prior years: 2025 logged 85 notices and 2024 logged 81. But the worker totals haven't fallen in proportion — 2026's 7,543 workers is not far off 2025's 8,907 or 2024's 9,674.
