I currently have a Fixation pixel 7 hybrid bike and I need something a bit faster and easier to do my commute to work about 6km one way, mostly bike path and some road cycling. I’m eyeing at a few models, not sure if they are overkill but here are the options:

-Giant Contend ($1300)
-Marin Gestault ($1200)
-Trek Domane AL 2 ($1499)
-Specialized Allez ($1400)

They all seem to have the same shifter as it seems and I don’t really have intention to upgrade anything in the future, just want my commute a bit easier
