i bought an abus bordo 6000k folding lock at my LBS a few years ago and i DESPISE this product

I rarely actually lock my bike outside, but when i do, the abus 6000k takes atleast 7+ tries for the key to fully rotate 180degrees to open/lock. It almost always gets stuck at 120degrees and I have to make more attempts than i should to simply open/lock this product. It’s extremely frustrating.

LBS initially said would ease over time, but this still occurs 2+ years later

this was my 1st abus purchase, are their products just poor manufacturing/etc all around? Not sure I’ll ever purchase another abus product again….

like the versatility/compactness of a folding lock so interested if others have a preferred folding lock brand/model/etc?

(understand any folding lock can be picked/busted/etc so willing to sacrifice convenience vs a super bulky u-bar)
