Celebrity Traitors is in full swing (BBC/Studio Lambert)

The second series of BBC's Celebrity Traitors features a star-studded cast including Michael Sheen, Maya Jama, Ross Kemp, Miranda Hart, and mathematician Professor Hannah Fry.

Participating celebrities are reportedly receiving a flat appearance fee of £40,000, although former contestant Joe Marler stated he was paid £30,000 for last year's series.

The contestants are competing to win up to £100,000 for charities of their choice, unlike the civilian version where participants keep their jackpot of up to £120,000.

Claudia Winkleman is the host of the show alongside a cast featuring prominent comedians such as Joe Lycett, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Joanne McNally, and James Acaster.

Comedian James Acaster revealed his concern that last year's winner Alan Carr has ruined the chances of other comedians by putting them under immediate suspicion.
