UNLV football fans will have to wait another week to see the Rebels take the field.
The Rebels do not have a game scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, as the team is on its second bye week of the 2026 season. UNLV enters the week with a 4-3 overall record and is coming off a 41-31 loss at Air Force on Oct. 17.
Why isn’t UNLV playing today?
The Rebels are in the middle of a scheduled bye week, part of a 2026 schedule that includes multiple open dates throughout the season. UNLV played at Air Force on Oct. 17 before beginning its week off.
The break gives coach Dan Mullen’s team extra time to prepare for the final five games of the regular season and the stretch run of the Mountain West race.
UNLV returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 31, when it hosts Northern Illinois at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT, and the game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
