It took me a bit to get into the vibe of this movie. But Lav Diaz is brilliant. Once I realized that every shot was a static camera angle, in the spirit of Ozu, this film really drew me in. It's minimalist, no score and mainly wide angle shots. The story is there but requires a bit of knowledge in the subject matter.
