I want to be honest with you about something.

I am not someone who walks into a room and immediately gets noticed.

I don’t have the kind of presence that turns heads. And for a long time — I wondered if that meant I would always struggle to connect with people. If the way I looked would always be the barrier between me and being truly seen.
