Celtic suffer fresh Europa League setback as dismal run continues

Celtic suffered their third straight Europa League defeat on Thursday as they were beaten 2-1 by Celta Vigo at Celtic Park.
After previous losses to Ferencvaros and Benfica, Celtic badly needed a result and took the lead through Mika Baur.
However, Celta came roaring back to turn the game on its head as Spain defender Javi Rodriguez scored twice in three minutes.
Celtic’s hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages are now hanging by a thread following their latest setback.
Their dismal run continued on Thursday after they were knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers by LASK earlier this season, having held a 4-0 aggregate advantage at one stage.
