$800 Union Reset Pro boots started falling apart on day one. Completely delaminated by day three.

Bought a pair of Union Reset Pros for around $800 CAD and flew across Canada for a snowboarding trip.
First day on the mountain, the soles started separating from the boots. By day three, the entire outsole had practically fallen off. Ended up having to duct tape them together just to keep riding and eventually used epoxy to hold them together.

Pretty ridiculous considering these are supposed to be Union’s flagship boots. Nothing like spending thousands on a snowboard trip just to have your brand-new boots fall apart.

Union did replace them under warranty, which I appreciate, but that doesn’t exactly make up for the headache.
What’s interesting is that Union has already redesigned the outsole and midsole for the 2026/27 model, switching to Vibram after just one season. Makes me wonder if they knew there were issues with the original design.

Anyone else had problems with these boots? Curious if I just got unlucky or if this is more widespread.
