Tsai voices Astrid, a name that should be familiar for The Dying World fans, while Eilish brings to life a friend of the character. As for Bridgers, recently seen in A24’s Primetime alongside Robert Pattinson, she voices Astrid’s sister.

“It was an absolute dream to work on this project for The Black Parade and The Dying World,” Tsai said of the newly unveiled short in a statement shared with Complex. “I deeply respect MCR and Gerard [Way]’s creative legacy. It has been an honor for him to find inspiration in a world that I've created, in the same way I have always admired the worlds that he has built throughout his career.”
