Microsoft has begun its Copilot Code rollout, giving users the ability to develop software using natural language, and taking aim at similar tools from Anthropic and OpenAI.

AI coding tools have revolutionized software development. The uses range from full vibe coding to helping experienced developers work faster. Anthropic’s Claude Code and OpenAI’s Codex have already carved out loyal followings, and Microsoft is now getting in on the action with Copilot Code.
