The title of Ariana Grande ‘s new album, Petal, might be pretty and delicate, but it sounds like some of its subject matter definitely isn’t.

In a Thursday (May 7) video the pop star posted on Instagram, she gives a summary of her upcoming project while addressing her team, revealing that the album doesn’t tiptoe around certain topics. “It’s a little feral,” she tells the group. “It’s definitely from a place I’ve been maybe too shy or polite to tap into before.”

“This kind of just feels like, ‘F–k it,'” Grande adds in the clip.

The Grammy winner announced Petal at the end of April.…
