ideal time to follow up with a recruiter after submitting salary proposal information?

Hi everyone,

I recently completed a lengthy interview process for a senior tech role and was verbally informed last Friday on call by the recruiter that I’ve been selected for the position.

Following that notification, the recruiter immediately emailed me requesting my current compensation data, equity details, and benefits package from my previous company so they could structure and finalize the official salary proposal. I replied with all the requested details the same day (Friday).

When is the ideal window to send a polite nudge?

Is checking in on Wednesday morning (Day 3) too eager, or should I hold out until Thursday/Friday?

For those who manage tech hiring, how long does the internal benchmarking and approval loop typically take once a selected candidate hands over their numbers? Appreciate any insights or past experiences!

P.S: I was laid off couple months back and hence have been overthinking a lot I guess 😅
