I’m in my 20s and have been working an office job for about a year now and I’ve realized it’s just not the place for me. I hate sitting at a computer all day and doing robotic, monotonous work. I have an associates degree in business administration and am NOT looking to go back to school (college was not for me) but potentially open to trying out a trade.

I’m looking to change my career path entirely but I have no clue where to start. I used to work in clothing retail doing merchandising and i absolutely loved it, but it became impossible to find a job that didn’t require me to work crazy hours plus nights and weekends. Work life balance is very important to me and the hours were sucking the life out of me. I mourn not being able to continue this work, i occasionally check for new fashion merchandising jobs but with no success.

I am a very creative person, hence why I enjoyed fashion merchandising so much, but a lot of careers I want I fear being taken over by AI.…
