Sound Transit’s 1 and 2 Line light rail trains Saturday morning were suspended from Pinehurst Station to University of Washington Station, the agency announced.
Problems with the overhead power led to suspending the service, the agency said in a statement at about 9:50 a.m. Saturday.
Trains are still operating from Lynnwood City Center Station to Pinehurst Station, and also from University of Washington Station to the Federal Way Downtown Station.
Meanwhile, the 2 Line trains are suspended from Judkins Park Station to the International District Station.
For now, shuttle buses will replace train service in those stretches; the agency is expected to provide more updates. The suspensions are effective until further notice, according to the agency.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
