One of the other painters in the show, fellow Abstract Expressionist Lee Krasner , took an interest in Pollock’s art. Three years later, the two were married, and they maintained a collaborative relationship until Pollock’s death in 1956. Later this year, an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York will examine Krasner and Pollock’s lives and careers.
