Felt humiliated in interview yesterday

It was for an entry level role and they wanted me to go into detail about everything i learnt in engineering school. I only had 2 days notice for this interview. Never thought they would focus more on me explaining everything i learnt instead of them asking me specific questions (which I’m confident i could’ve answered). I panicked and said basic answers. Even heard them laughing at my answers and felt humiliated.

They asked me to send them the academic works i’ve done and my friend says its because they don’t believe i did them as per my explanation. These past few months i was so focused on just getting an interview and networking that it didnt cross my mind to keep reviewing my material at the same time. Lesson learnt, but i wish it wasnt in such a demotivating way…
