Creative Bloq Verdict

The Sennheiser HD 480 Pro is the new benchmark in closed-back sound quality, offering a balanced, neutral sound profile with a touch of added bass warmth. Its rich and detailed mids are exceptional, and its smooth treble will appeal to the widest range of listeners. Critics will think it lacks the excitement of some audiophile headphones, but if you want correct-sounding headphones that will present your favourite music in the absolute best light, you can't do better than the Sennheiser HD 480 Pro.
