To wrap up our spooky season special, there's few bands more season appropriate than Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats !

Originally started as a solo project by Kevin Starrs (I am absolutely convinced this is the case and he just pretended to have a band) but in 2013 he got a real band together and became a quartet, playing live shows (including opening for Black Sabbath), and more recently became a quintet with a dedicated backing vocalist/synth player.

Uncle Acid are what you'd get it if you combined early Sabbath, 60s/70s occult rock, the entire Palm Desert scene, and every single obscure giallo and German horror movie from the 70s you can think of.…
