hello! 😸 so for a little background, i am currently unemployed, and was fired due to exhibiting social struggles in my previous workplace. i’m in therapy to try to figure out and troubleshoot my behavior, and i question myself and my own motives for doing things/how the things i do will come across very frequently. i am a former hospice care worker, but i’ve had multiple interviewers thus far misinterpret that as working in a hospital, which leads them to ask questions about which hospitals i’m associated with, what my specific role in the hospital was, etc. it very specifically says “hospice” on my resume, and none of my previous job sites or people giving recommendations are associated with hospitals in any way. when the interviewers start asking me about the hospitals, i sort of hedge it into discussing my time in hospice care more broadly - as in, i sometimes entered hospitals to do this job, but i was more frequently visiting people in memory care centers or at home.…
