Hi fellow travelers, locals, and readers! My girlfriend and I are currently traveling through Asia. We have two sets of friends who are getting married around the time we return, and we thought it would be a great idea to pick up some wedding gifts while on our trip. Our itinerary takes us through Japan, China, Vietnam, and Laos. The first couple loves cooking, baking, architecture, photography, and watches. The second couple also enjoys cooking; they have more affluent, extravagant tastes and appreciate art, vibrant colors, traveling through Asia, and luxury. We’re thinking of a budget of around €200 per couple—and it would be a bonus if the gifts could fit into our backpacks!
