President Donald Trump has made it through another Halloween event at the White House — this time without going viral for putting candy on the head of a child dressed as a short yellow henchman from the Minions movie franchise -- or anything else too silly.

During his first term in 2019, a child, dressed in an inflatable Minions costume, went up to Trump and First Lady Melania for some sweets, but instead of putting the candy bar in the child’s bag, he plopped it on their head . Trump did the same thing last Halloween, placing a candy bar on top of a child’s light-up mask .

This year’s event was fairly tame. The Trumps handed out candy, this time putting it in children’s bags in an event that lasted about an hour.…
