I recently received a verbal offer for a Scientist position with a $92,000 base salary and a 10% bonus. I have more than five years of postdoctoral experience but no industry experience.
Would you recommend negotiating the salary or accepting the offer as presented? This is my first transition from academia to industry, so the negotiation process is new to me.
