Angine de Poitrine are the band of the moment, or at least a band of the moment. The costumed microtonal math-rockers have a zany, eye-catching look and a sound to match, and their glow-up this past year — including a Polaris Prize win , the emergence of tribute bands , and encounters with the likes of Shania Twain — suggests they've been giving a lot of people something they didn't know they wanted. The band already had a fairly robust, fully sold-out tour scheduled through the end of this year, but now they've added dates all over the world for 2027. From March through July, they'll be hitting Oceania, North and South America, and Europe. Hopefully they've figured out a good laundry situation for those outfits because they're going to get a lot of wear.
