35M in PA here. Worked all my life in manufacturing and warehousing. I've been diagnosed and had surgery for CD at 16 and it hasn't come back until May '24...it's been hell ever since. In person work is becoming hard due to bathroom breaks and fatigue...I'm about at the end of my rope, disability lawyer has 69 pages of my medical file and still says I don't have a case with a lifelong illness and 2 surgeries?? I'm desperate and thinking about quitting work and living in my truck because the remote search has been hard and I can't tell what's a scam or not. Like, what is a single man supposed to do at this point living in the west? I don't want to run to disability, but I can't keep getting pushed and pushed when my body has clear limitations. I went to tech school for communication electronic technology, I'm very computer savvy and just want to find entry level work even if it's only $16-$18 it's better than disability or begging. I really hope there's options for me...
