When Charli XCX revealed the cover for Music, Fashion, Film , it boasted three heavyweights from each discipline: John Cale , Marc Jacobs, and Martin Scorsese. Now, the pop star and the director have reunited for Scorsese’s next movie, What Happens at Night . Variety reports that the psychological thriller, which stars Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio as a married couple who travel to European small town to adopt a baby, will feature a cameo from Charli. The project, a co-production between Apple and StudioCanal, does not yet have a release date.

Despite asking on the MFF track “Camera” if it’s “fuckin’ stupid if I try to be a girl on the screen when I'm turning thirty-four,” Charli has had a major year on the big screen.…
