Spanish breakout star Judeline has moved to Los Angeles to work on her next album, following the success of “BbY WOW,” her collaboration with Karol G and rusowsky. But despite working with American musicians, the 23-year-old singer is continuing to write her lyrics in Spanish.

In a new interview with El País , Judeline revealed that she arrived in Los Angeles about a week earlier without a return ticket and has been spending her days in the studio.

“I go to the studio feeling really excited and happy,” she said. “Two American guys help me, but since the lyrics are in Spanish, I write them myself.”

“English is very musical, but Spanish is beautiful, and even more so with an Andalusian accent,” she added. “It sounds romantic. The words carry weight.”
