I started a new job 2months ago and the environment is extremely toxic so I want out as soon as possible.

The job is not on my LinkedIn and not on my resume (though I updated my last job to show my end date).

Should I be honest during interviews that I am currently employed? Does it look like a red flag that it wasn’t on my resume and that I’m looking so quickly? I am just scared if I don’t mention it they will somehow find out during a background check. I also would have to give my current employer notice if I resign.

If anyone has been in a similar position or is in a hiring position and can give insights into the best practice that would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻
