During the Oct. 21st "Dedication Night" episode of Dancing With the Stars , actor Julia Stiles dedicated her dance to her late costar, Heath Ledger .

In her pre-dance package, the actor spoke about their time together on set, describing the experience as "so easy with him." She continued, saying that she "learned a lot from Heath," because "he was so authentic."

Getting emotional, Stiles expressed how much she wished she could call him and tell him, "We did something special."

Stiles and her pro dance partner, Ezra Sosa , performed a contemporary dance to Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," referencing Ledger's iconic scene from the movie (unfortunately, they did not use Ledger's cover).

Their dance mirrored several moves and scenes from the film, including the prom scene where Patrick (Ledger) gives Kat (Stiles) a rose.

Stiles said her goal for this dance was to "recreate the lust for life that [Ledger] had in that scene."
