Home maintenance often gets overlooked. I might remember to clean an appliance or replace a filter, but other tasks only come to mind when something stops working.

Instead of relying on my memory or keeping a separate checklist I rarely revisit, I use Google Calendar to build a home maintenance schedule.

It gives me one place to track recurring chores, plan seasonal upkeep, and set reminders for tasks I might otherwise forget.

The best part is that I can spread these jobs throughout the year instead of letting them pile up into one overwhelming to-do list.
