My boss is editing my job description without my input. May be changing travel requirements and scope of role entirely. How do I respond to ensure I agree with the changes and also capture compensation appropriately?

Background: I’m a senior director level in charge of a major business at the company, I lead a cross functional matrix-structure team, no direct reports. Mostly WFH with very occasional travel.

I believe boss is looking for more commercial strategy ownership and ~50% travel to interface with customers.
