Most non-technical founders we talk to have the same fear: they'll spend months and their savings on an app, and end up with something nobody uses. That fear makes sense. The fix isn't to write code faster. It's to build less, on purpose, in the right order. This is the process we use at Vynuro to ship SaaS MVPs at a fixed price in about four to six weeks.
1. Start with one painful workflow, not a feature list
Founders usually arrive with a list of 30 features. We cut it down to one sentence: "A [user] can [do the one painful thing] in [less time / for less money] than today." Every screen in the MVP has to support that sentence. Anything else (team roles, a mobile app, an analytics suite) goes into a "Version 2" document. It isn't thrown away. It's just put off until real users ask for it.
That one change usually removes 40–60% of the scope, and it's the main reason a fixed price is possible.
