But there’s a problem I keep thinking about:

What if the AI identifies a real bug but gives you a fix that introduces another one?

Imagine this scenario:

An AI reviewer flags a security vulnerability.

It suggests a patch that looks convincing.

The developer applies it.

The code appears fine, but the fix is incomplete—or the tests have been changed to accommodate the bug.

Now what?

A green test suite doesn't automatically mean the bug is fixed. A confident explanation doesn't prove the patch is correct.…
