Press enter or click to view image in full sizeFor years, every AI application I built followed the same architecture.
The browser collected input.
The server performed inference.
The model generated a response.
The browser displayed the result.
Everything depended on the cloud.
It worked well.
Until I started building applications that demanded:
- Instant responses
- Offline capabilities
- User privacy
- Low latency
- Reduced infrastructure costs
- Real-time interactions
Sending every prompt to a remote server quickly became the bottleneck.
That’s when I began exploring browser-native AI.
