Authorities are investigating after a naked man’s body was discovered floating in the water near Malibu Lagoon on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded shortly before 3:30 p.m. to reports of a body in the ocean along Malibu Road near Puerco Beach. First responders pulled the victim from the water, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
