basically as the title says, I love movies about ghosts and Demons etc but I hate movies that are essentially like “everybody dies the end”

I don’t mind if a few characters die

extra points for movies that have actual happy endings/where the “good guys” prevail or defeat the “bad guy”, but it’s not required
