Logo text Peacock has given a straight-to-series order to a show based on Matt Dinnaman’s popular Dungeon Crawler Carl books. The live-action series comes from Universal Global Television and Seth MacFarlane ‘s Fuzzy Door company. UGT’s predecessor, Universal International Studios, and Fuzzy Door acquired rights to Dinnaman’s books in 2024. Chris Yost ( Maul: Shadow Lord, Thor: Ragnarok ) is set to write and executive produce the series. “I’m happy to announce that our friends at Peacock have *officially* greenlit the Dungeon Crawler Carl television series!,” Dinnaman wrote on Instagram . “Me, Chris Yost and Seth MacFarlane and his team at Fuzzy Door are all really excited to get to work.” Dinnaman also noted that he and Yost are scheduled to lead a Dungeon Crawler Carl panel at Comic-Con in July.
