New Zealand fisherman and popular social media influencer Henry Gibbs is recovering in the hospital following a shark attack during a spearfishing trip in Fiji. The ocean enthusiast shared photos from his hospital bed, showing severe lower-leg injuries that required four surgeries and a skin graft. Reflecting on the ordeal, Gibbs maintained a surprisingly chill attitude about the incident. “[My] first dive in Fiji ended in a pretty nasty shark incident,” he wrote on social media. “Feeling incredibly lucky to still have my leg, full use of my foot and to be on the mend.
