Dr. Joyce Wolburg has been a supporter of Alley Cat Allies since the early 2000s. As a professor, she and her class of advertising students worked with a local animal shelter to promote their new TNR program, gain support in the community, and fight misinformation about community cats.

As the project unfolded, Joyce and her students discovered Alley Cat Allies and began drawing from our rich educational resources.

Around this same time, Joyce was able to put what she learned into practice when a mother cat with a litter of kittens suddenly appeared in her yard.…
