I basically enrolled in MITxMicroMasters in Finance, I choose two courses (Finance I and Math Methods) at first (big mistake) and the certificates will be covered by my workplace. The thing is I am supposed to apply for the Financial Assistance (by Sep 15, mistake number 2) and my workplace will cover the remaining. I had thought the deadline was Oct but it is actually Sep so i kinda messed up. I am not sure how to communicate to HR and I had only started working here for 3 months so I am not sure if this will affect my job prospect or not. Should I unenroll? Should I email the school for another request (not sure if they are flexible)? Should I continue on the free course and then register again next year (for real this time)?
