Woods introduced her lucky bag in "GRWM (Get Ready With Me)" reels on social media, but when she couldn’t bring it during Game 3 of the NBA Finals, when the Knicks lost, people began joking about the accessory having mythical powers.
Although KAT hyped up his fiancée’s bag, Woods teased that she might have to retire it, despite also bringing it to TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle on Wednesday (June 17).
“After tomorrow, I’m gonna hang it in the rafters,” Woods said on the show, adding that the bag “needs a rest.”
Towns also commented on the bag’s superstition on The Tonight Show earlier this week, saying that his fiancée “made some magic” with it.
To celebrate the Knicks bringing home the championship for the first time in 53 years, Mayor Mamdani joyfully participated in the parade which began near Bowling Green in Lower Manhattan before heading north along Broadway and concluded at City Hall. There, the politician will give Knicks players the Key to the City.
