Mena Suvari is conjuring up a collaboration with Practical Magic author Alice Hoffman. Suvari will record the audiobook for Hoffman’s forthcoming novel The Witches of Cambridge , The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Scribner Books is set to release the best-selling author’s novel on Sept. 8. Set in the 1950s in Cambridge, Massachusetts, The Witches of Cambridge centers on Ava and Lauren, two bright Radcliffe College students who get recruited by the Lilith Society, a secret organization of witches dating back to colonial times. The Witches of Cambridge will be available just days before Warner Bros. is set to theatrically release Practical Magic 2 on Sept. 11. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman reprise their roles as the Owens sisters in the adaptation of Hoffman’s 2021 title The Book of Magic , which is a sequel to her 1995 novel Practical Magic .
