Denver Broncos pass rusher Jonathon Cooper has been arrested on charges tied to an alleged domestic violence incident in Parker, Colorado. Taken into custody on Thursday (June 4) by police, he was booked into the Douglas County Detention Facility on two counts of domestic violence and one count of criminal mischief. After being released on personal recognizance, Cooper is free until his disposition hearing which is scheduled for Monday (June 8). According to the arrest affidavit, the alleged confrontation stemmed from Cooper's girlfriend accusing him of cheating and a subsequent altercation at his apartment. She is claimed to have taken his phone and thrown it across the room before deciding to pick it up and attempt to see what was on it. They then allegedly got into a scuffle where Cooper is claimed to have "braced his neck against [his girlfriend's] neck to prevent her from getting his phone."
