If you're an indie developer or a small startup, you've likely hit the new wall Google built in late 2023: the Closed Testing Requirement .

For those unaware, personal developer accounts created after November 2023 must now recruit at least 20 testers who must:

Opt-in to your closed test.

Keep the app installed for 14 consecutive days .
