I’ve tried caulking it and using special paint that I thought was the right one for bathroom/mold/wetness etc. The paint barely held up, the wood of the window sill is looking bad and I’m worried it’s rotting through. I have had a tension rod with a plastic shower curtain covering it the best I can since the day I moved in but I need to do more for it. I also open the window when I shower and leave it open a bit after. Money is tighter than tight.

Any ideas or products to help with repainting and keeping the wood sealed?
